Why I built this

I have taught hundreds of professionals who speak good English. They prepare their presentations. They practise their answers. They do fine in situations they can control.

But when a native speaker talks at full speed, or when someone speaks with an accent they have never heard before, it is a different story. Suddenly they are not sure what was just said. They nod and move on.

That is the moment I built Portable English for.
